My Favourite Things

I have installed DropBox on all my Windows and Macs. Its a free (for now service) that allows you to have 2GB of shared storage between all machines. The data is stored locally on each machine and kept in synch over the net by DropBox. Fantastic.

I use JungleDisk for longterm storage of photos. It use Amazons S3 service and so is very cheap. I store 9GB of files for less than £1 a month.

1Password on the iPhone and the Mac is a life saver. Passwords are generated and stored securely.

Spotify (UK only) is a great streaming music service. When I am working at home. I don't mind the advert based service at all - they are pretty unobtrusive. I've now bought loads of albums I wouldn't have before, I have also not bothered to buy some stuff after previewing it on Spotify - this is the function that radio used to perform.
